PRaP 6/02/08 (50 Days Until Outrigger Island!)
“More Warnings aka. Meat Monday”
In my prayer time this morning I was asking the LORD to show me in His Word a message of hope a message of His making so that all would see. The reason I was asking this was because I got to thinking about something that I heard on the radio this morning on the way to work and the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to something. Now I know many of you are going to disagree with me and tell me I am taking things too seriously but I have to say folks we live in a serious time. On the radio this morning they were discussing the cultural lingo being used today and how backwards It is. Now we know satan likes to take things and twist them so let me show you how twisted things have become. When something is sick, that is a good thing? Since when did something that is sick become a good thing? Now wait don’t jump me. When it is bad it is good? So since when did something bad become good? Also there are plays on words like when something is phat it is a good thing but when you are fat you are sick so that is a bad thing? If you read this in the cultural since that being fat is a really good way to be because it makes you really something to behold? So the message the LORD has given me to share with you “IS” actually a word of hope. Know that He is still in control of all things and He WILL be glorified in the end.
11 ” ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Strike your hands together and stamp your feet and cry out “Alas!” because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the house of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague. 12 He that is far away will die of the plague, and he that is near will fall by the sword, and he that survives and is spared will die of famine. So will I spend my wrath upon them. 13 And they will know that I am the LORD, when their people lie slain among their idols around their altars, on every high hill and on all the mountaintops, under every spreading tree and every leafy oak-places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols. 14 And I will stretch out my hand against them and make the land a desolate waste from the desert to Diblah [a] -wherever they live. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’ “
Now if history repeats itself and it does and knowing that we as Christians are children of God and we are, we will see things so big we will not believe our eyes. The Earth is shaking and the seas are restless. Our societies now think sin is ok because everyone else is doing it. Kids think that sex is ok before marriage and the deviant lifestyles of homosexuals is becoming mainstream and seems to be ok with everyone. If this were a loaded gun the hammer would be cocked back and ready to fire. Jesus loves me this I know! For the Bible tells me so! Think about it.
