“Difficult Subject” Part 3 of 3
I left you Friday with “Keep the marriage bed pure”. It has been shown statistically that men and women who share their bed before marriage end in divorce more than 90% of the time. That is an amazing statistic, or is it? Not following God’s plan will always end in failure. We always seem to think we can handle things and I don’t know about you but I think marriage and making two bodies into one is not something that should be left up to us. Out of all the things in my life that I have been a part of I can say with 100% accuracy that all the things that I have done apart from God have lead to failure. Many not right away but in the end they were doomed to fail from the start because I did not ask. Those of you planning to marry please do not fall on this point. I know your excited and the hormones are raging but if you do not have the self control now then how is it once your married you will have the self control to walk away from the temptation of that other person? You know that other man or other woman that you all of the sudden get the hots for. If you cannot control yourself before you get married to someone you love how are you going to control the lust afterwards? I call it the grass is always greener syndrome. You know you want what the other guy has and I want you to know that that is call coveting. What is coveting? Sin! Plain and simple and the wages of sin is death. Sometimes a physical death and sometimes a spiritual death, either way it will lead to separation from God. In the end do it God’s way and you will be blessed because He will be blessed by your union.
Key Verse:
Hebrews 13:4
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
Hebrews 13:3-5 (in Context) Hebrews 13 (Whole Chapter)

Christianity is evil according to Al Gore and the Green movement.
The green movement is based on Gaia the pagan earth goddess.
That is why McGuinty tried to remove the Lord’s prayer from the Ont. legislature. It is also the reason for the attempt to remove God from the national anthem.
One world govt. requires a one world religion.
The churches have been led to believe the green movement is godly, it’s exactly the opposite.
Canadians need to wake up and wake up fast.
Please read The Green Agenda found on the page bar of my blog.
It is the best I have found on the subject.
Read the words of the men that would rule the world and remove the Christian faith.
Please-read The Green Agenda.

If you are involved in the church I would like to be in touch.

“It has been shown statistically that men and women who share their bed before marriage end in divorce more than 90% of the time. ” – Link to your source please? Or at least reference it? And hopefully backing sources that can verify this statistic. Hopefully these sources will also be from both Christian backgrounds and those of other backgrounds, as opposed to baised rubbish.
“Out of all the things in my life that I have been a part of I can say with 100% accuracy that all the things that I have done apart from God have lead to failure.” – Wow, it really sucks to be you.
“If you cannot control yourself before you get married to someone you love how are you going to control the lust afterwards?” – You’re talking about two different types of control, the first is to not have sex, before marriage, with the person you presumably love. The second is the self-control to stop yourself cheating… So please, don’t vaguely generalise that both these things require the exact same type of control, because they don’t, you lose credibility for doing it, and if you love somebody you will never feel the need to cheat on them, regardless of whether or not you had sex before marriage.
You’re talking about two types of control, the first is controling the physical side of your love, the second is about controlling your lust. You can control one without being able to control the other. You can control both, or you can control neither.
You’re making the implication that if you cannot stop your self from displaying your love, for the one you love, in a physical fashion, you will end up cheating on her… How on Earth does that work? Does that not strike you as a contradiction of terms?
You’re implying that if you have sex before marriage, the marriage will fail, because you’ve already had sex and will get bored with your wife, and then cheat on her. This is foolish. If you get bored with your wife, it’s not because you had sex with her before marriage, it’s because it wasn’t meant to be.
There are 6 billion people in the world, that makes your chances of finding your perfect partner very slim indeed, you will make mistakes along the way, you will learn from them, you will move on, but if you don’t practice the physical side of marriage, then how will you find your perfect partner? Unless of course, you marry a christian who believes in not having sex before marriage, which of course, is definately not my partner, which means in essence, you’re implying, that without God, there is nobody out there for me and all my relationships are doomed to failure.
Cool, it’s just a pity I disprove everything you imply and write.

Virgil you obviosly do not know or understand the Light and I am not going to start a theology debate with you if you want to know my sources do what I do Google it. You will find those stats came from a secular organization and NOT a Christian one. Those statistics also show that the divorce rates in the Christian community are just as rampant as in the non-christian community. Therefore it goes to show that not following God’s plan is causing pain and suffering throughtout. Also if we followed God’s plan for marriage and sex there would be NO sexually transmitted disease, abortion, or teen pregnancy. Think about that.

c2ministry, you obviously “understand” the “light.” You talk like every believer in the world, in circles, really big circles, you convolute everything you say, you make vague assumptions, you blur all your definitions and in general, you make no sense. Then claim, that you make no sense because I don’t have faith. I’m a well read chap, with a very high aptitude for taking in new material and new knowledge, I pride myself on being a well educated intelligent man. The problem is not that “I do not have faith.” The problem is that men like yourself deliberately have a set way of talking by which no real knowledge is ever passed on, but it seems, to the ignorant, that it is. ie., “If you say a lot, morons buy it.”
But let’s leave the scathing attacks on eachother for now.
First off, google it? You get all your stats by googling it? How can you be sure of accuracy? Or authenticity? Or of the authors standing as a statistician?
Secondly. Link me, I’m not sourcing your material for you. Also, link me to where they show a direct corellation and prove that having sex before marriage is why they broke up.
“Also if we followed God’s plan for marriage and sex there would be NO sexually transmitted disease, abortion, or teen pregnancy. Think about that.” – I thought about it, I don’t care. Because, I don’t see abortion as immoral, I don’t have a problem with STDs because most of them are curable, and the chances of getting one if you have safe sex are next to nil, and if everyone followed God’s plan it would defy the point in having any degree of indivuality.
Finally, Old Testament, God aided rape, God smote children in their masses, God killed new born children, God doesn’t give a toss about children, abortion or STIs…
(And yes, I can use the OT, because you’ve quoted from it, I see no reason why I can’t, my view is this, you can’t pick and choose what you wan’t to use from the OT, a real Christian follows the words of Christ, not the jibbrish found in the OT, which is impossible to pick the relevant from the insane, since it’s all equally insane.)

My comments are always brief and to the point. If you do not understand them that is fine but you cannot be disrespectful to those who do understand. Your pride is your downfall. Your pride is what will give you nothing for your eternal soul. That is if you believe you even have a soul. The only time you can call it ignorance is once you have done the research. I don’t agree with all the research I look at and in fact I don’t believe all the scientists of this world either. A lazy man recieves a lazy mans wages. Just as Christ says in the Bible the only miriacle you shall get is that of Jonah. If you have not Light in you and only darkness dwells there how dark is it? PRAYER WARRIORS please pray that God touch this mans heart so that he may see the Light. Virgil why is it that you do not believe? Is it because you can’t see it touch it smell it or feel it? Virgil one other thing. I am not one of those Christian business that sucks his congregations wallets dry. In 8 years I have never asked for a dime. So you are not talking to the typical evangelical businessman looking for a buck. It is easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle then a rich man to the Kingdom of God.

Oh yes to answer your alligations of God’s Old Testament actions. The Bible is very clear that not one person here that walks this Earth is good as in sin free. Also the price for sin is death PERIOD. There is not a single sin less than any other they ALL have the same price. Now that Christ has paid that debt for us we can go to Him and repent of our fleshly sin and be forgiven. But do not for one minute think that Jesus is this laid back dope smoking hippie from the 60s. He is about love but He is also about conquering evil. He is Love but He is also a Mighty Warrior bent on conquering. Sin now keeps us from God and the only way back is to get that relationship with Jesus Christ who is not dead but lives in everyone even you through the Holy Spirit of GOd. It’s a freebie we are talking about here. There is no price tag on it. Even if there was you couldn’t ever pay it.
