“Is God Still In The Healing Business?”
If you want to know the answer to that question I have a little story to tell you. Sunday evening while I was at church I began to get this pain in my right jaw. It escalated into my teeth and all the way up the side of my face and ear. I took a couple aspirin and it subsided somewhat but by the time I got to work it was hurting again. My face began to swell and I just knew I was going to have to go to the dentist. As the pain grew into Monday afternoon I was sipping on ice cold water every 30 seconds to kill the sharp pains. Now you need to realize that as a contractor like I am I have no health benefits. So needless to say I believe by faith that Jesus will heal me when I am feeling sick. Along with a few over the counter medications He has been faithful in healing me when I am sick. If I do need to go to the doctor I will but I always go through time of prayer and thanksgiving before I make that decision. This all started on Sunday and today I can tell you that the swelling is gone and the pain is gone and I am feeling my old self again. I still have a little pressure in my jaw but it isn’t the horrific pain I was feeling only yesterday. God is still in the business. As Jesus says over and over again during His time here your faith is what heals you. I want to thank all of you that have been praying for me these last couple of days. I asked for a special blessing to poured out on you for your faith in believing God would heal me and He did through our faith in Jesus Christ. I ask that you continue to keep me in your prayers because between ministry, working full time and being a full time dad it does have a tendency to take a toll on my health but I know that through the Power on given through that relationship with Jesus Christ I will finish the race and finish in victory.
