Just A Thought 1-30-2009
Let me ask you a question. Where is hope? When your world is crashing in around you where do you go? Ok that was two questions. Just a thought.

Well, the dictionary defines hope as “a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen”, so I guess hope would pretty much be present in such a situation you are describing. I also think that there is hope in the fact that you and others can do something about it: for example, for the first time in the history of the world we can eradicate poverty. Climate change is somewhat “preventable” and world politics is, well, possible to solve.
So I have hope

Amen to hope! For without it there is no Salvation. The Hope of the world can only be found through a relationship with Jesus Christ. No matter what the politics are, no matter what the financials are, in the end Jesus has the last word. Realistically speaking we live in some really exciting times no matter what anybody says.
