Did you hear what you really thought you heard? Did you see what you really thought you saw? Is God speaking? Just a thought.

“The Storm Has Cleared But…”
I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. But I will not let down my guard because I do not know what is around that corner. Many times when the storms clear we drop our guard and become complacent in our walk and next thing we know we are in trouble again. Now if we would have kept that shield up and that sword at the ready we would not have fallen into the storm again. I guess it is just human nature to let the guard down and used to be it wasn’t so bad but today we are in the end days and we can no longer lay down the shield and we can no longer sheath our sword because in these times there will be lots of storms and lots of opportunity to share the Truth with those who do not know the Truth. Be prepared in all things and at all times because we never know when the next storm will arrive and if you are not ready you will be knocked down and you sword and shield can be stripped away from you if you are not careful. The things of this world are meant to kill steal and destroy all things that you have received from Christ who strengthens us.
Key Verse:
2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage-with great patience and careful instruction.
2 Timothy 4:1-3 (in Context) 2 Timothy 4 (Whole Chapter)

Even when the rain comes. Even when flood starts rising. I am washed by the Water. Yep a rainy flooding day in beautiful Houston Texas. ALL the weather people got this one wrong. They say it will likely be sunny today I laugh and say it is more likely to snow! Got to love this Houston weather though, if you don’t like the current weather hang around it will likely change in about 30 minutes. I remember one day it was like a spring day when I woke up and then by the time I got to work it was a tropical storm and by lunch there was ice on the ground and then the sun came back out and it was hot like summer. So if you are in Houston and don’t like the weather, stick around it will change. The World is in constant change. Moment by moment things are happening and changing and you never know what’s next. Isn’t it wonderful to know that God is the same today as He was yesterday and even that He will be the same 2 million years from now? You can depend on His every word because they are ALL Truth. How about setting your life on that path, knowing it will not veer to the right or left but will always stay on that path God has already laid out for us? I know it isn’t easy to get there and it is even harder to stay on but if you fully give your life over to God’s plan through a relationship with Jesus Christ the footing is not slippery, by no means, your footing is solid as if you were walking on bedrock.
Key Verse:
Matthew 7:25
The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
Matthew 7:24-26 (in Context) Matthew 7 (Whole Chapter)

“HIDE ME!”
With all the things going on in this world I have sometimes wanted to shout that out. Hide me Lord from all this stuff! Then I feel His arm around me to comfort me and He brings me peace in knowing that He has my back and all I need to do is hold up my shield to fend off those arrows flying at me and when that shield gets full He will replace it with another one as long as I keep my sword at the ready and my armor on.
Psalm 32:7
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
Be delivered today from everything that brings you fear and trembling and know that God the Creator is in your corner if you believe and have received His Son as your Lord and Savior you have no worries.
Key Verse:
Psalm 32:5
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD “- and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

1 An oracle: The word of the LORD to Israel through Malachi. [a]
2 “I have loved you,” says the LORD.
”But you ask, ‘How have you loved us?’
”Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” the LORD says. “Yet I have loved Jacob, 3 but Esau I have hated, and I have turned his mountains into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals.”
4 Edom may say, “Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins.”
But this is what the LORD Almighty says: “They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the LORD. 5 You will see it with your own eyes and say, ‘Great is the LORD -even beyond the borders of Israel!’
Harsh ddduuuuudddeeeee!!!!! God loves Jacob but hates Esau so much that his land will be destroyed for ever. The Wicked Land where people will always be under the wrath of God. That sounds like a cheery place. NOT! God loves those who follow His ways and live for His Son Jesus Christ. Have you turned your house into an Edom, hated by God? Got questions about who Esau is and why God hates him so much as to do these things? You can find out about Esau and so much more if you would just pick up a Holy Bible and read it. I could give it to you but you have the whole weekend ahead of you. I challenge you to find out and go to our blog and blog it. Share what God put on your heart.
