A toddler watches her daddy pick up trash and throw it in the waste basket in the kitchen and then goes wandering off into her parents bedroom. Then she opens the drawers and begins to take clothes from within the drawer and immediately walks to the trash bin and throws them in and then she walks around the house and picks up the remote control and some other little knickknacks and proceeds to toss them in the waste basket. Now a lot of you just thought she was imitating what daddy did. Look deeper, the daddy was picking up what he thought was trash and the toddler not know what trash is began to pick up the things that her subconscious thinks as trash. A child very young guided by what’s inside, what is that consciousness? Could it be a message within this action? I think maybe daddy didn’t see the message that God was trying to tell him through this child. The message was “What about the rest of this trash you keep hanging on to?” Maybe we aren’t listening with the right ears? Maybe we aren’t seeing with the right eyes? Maybe God’s message was what’s up with your stuff? Maybe the message was it is time to clean up all things in your life because I Am coming soon? Maybe it was just a child imitating what she saw but only grabbed the wrong stuff but why not look at things through a different pair of eyes maybe God was using His creation to send a message? Not everything is a coincidence and as a matter of fact the Bible says that God uses ALL things for His glory, why not this?
Key Verse:
Psalm 34:11
Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
