Do you feel that sometimes your center is maybe leaning to the left a little? Or maybe it leans a little to the right? I have seen some centers leaning up and down. I feel off when my Center is not in the center. The only reason for the Center to not be cenetered is because of me. Just a thought

“The Center”
Where is the center of your being? Do you have one? Well we all have one and it could be your spouse, or your children, or your job. As children our center was playtime and fun stuff. As teenagers it could be games and girlfriends and boyfriends or getting high with said girlfriends or boyfriends. Maybe the center for you is music or cars. For some it is alcohol and drugs and for others it is pain and suffering. I like a good pizza and a rootbeer as well as some candies but I don’t call them the center of my being. The choir already knows where I am going with this PRaP today, so choir share this with someone who doesn’t. Some of those things we make the center aren’t bad but they aren’t where the center should be because Christ is where our center should be and if He is the center those good things follow right along and sometimes those bad ones try to follow but are eventually destroyed through faith in Christ. When I was a young man money, alcohol and drugs were the center of my being and then women and pain and sorry were to follow. Now I am not saying everything I did on my past was bad there was some good but it was an empty good, it had no meaning and was not fulfilling. But when I began to make Christ the center, things began to change. For me, God immediately stripped away all of the things that were not of Him and then He slowly began to change me. Well some would say I changed very quickly but that was just the outside. I am not saying I jumped from what I was then to who I am now because it just didn’t work that way. Some things changed instantaneously but I had to grow to the Center. Not an easy thing I assure you. Now 10 years into my new life there is peace in my life because the center of my life is truly Christ and I am not just saying I know Christ but I am saying that I know that I know that I know He is the Center and I can depend on Him for all things. Is He the Center of your life? Do you want to get this peace? Oh I am by no means perfect I still make mistakes but when I do make them I know where to go to get the forgiveness and I know where to go to get back on the right path. Do you want some of this? I promise that once you get there you will not want anything else. There is no drug that will make you feel this way and there is no amount of alcohol you can consume to be here and there are no manmade things that can equal the peace, love, and joy I have in Christ. You want to know more? Contact the person that gave you this today and ask, seek, and knock and this door will be opened for you and after you walk in. Well that will be up to you.
Key Verse:
Philippians 3:8
What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ

“I Got Your Back!”
Ever hear that before? Isn’t it a great feeling to know that someone has your back? Thing is do you trust that person that says they got your back? You better know that you know that you know that the person who says that is really going to come through in the time it is needed? I wouldn’t want to leave my back exposed to anything I couldn’t see. In God’s true infinite wisdom He knows that you will have to have someone to get your back. He made us that way. I mean otherwise we would have eyes that could see 360 degrees without moving our head. Now that would be a sight to see, wouldn’t it? God wants us to know that He’s got our back. Look at the scripture about the full armor of God, there isn’t one piece of that armor that covers your back. You know why? God’s got your back! How cool is that? Knowing this means that you never have to look back at where you’ve been! You can always keep forward motion in your battle to succeed in this short life. Do you know that you know that you know God’s got your back? I think it is human nature to look behind us to make sure we aren’t being snuck up on from behind be it work, home, or leisure. But if you know God has you covered there should be no fear of that. So today as your backing out the driveway NO WAIT! Always look behind you when you are backing your car OK I don’t want any emails or lawsuits saying I said not to. But as you move forward in your spiritual battles for your very soul remember there is no need to look back but to keep moving forward and keep your eyes on the prize. The prize? Keep your heart and your mind and your spirit on Jesus so that in your forward motion you do not sway left or right but continue forward momentum to the gates of Heaven through your relationship with Jesus Christ. If you need to know how to get that relationship started please ask, seek, and knock so that the door will be opened for you.
Key Verse:
Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

What lured us into the prostitutes bed? What will it take to get us out? Is there any rescue party that can save us at this point? Is there a rope long enough to reach us without hanging ourselves? Jesus, Jesus, Jesus… Just a thought.

“Adulterous Nation”
I so much want to tell you about God’s loving touch and how much He wants to be with you and how much His Grace is there for you but there is something that presses me on forward to the trouble our nation continues to be in. You can read all about it in Ezekiel 23. In this chapter it has a warning and a promise and the other nations around us should read and take warning to what will happen to them if they continue down this path. As I write this tears well up in my eyes because I know of God’s love and want to share it with you but I know that He is a jealous God and wants nothing less than all of us. Everything we have is because of His love and nothing more. You can’t have what you have without His love and you will have less if you choose to shun Him. I don’t want to write this but am lead by the Holy Spirit to tell you of the things to come. WAKE UP sleeping nation before the wrath of God pours out on you.
35 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Since you have forgotten me and thrust me behind your back, you must bear the consequences of your lewdness and prostitution.”
Why would these words be any less relevant today than they were then? God is the same today as He was yesterday and the same as He was then for His omnipotence allows Him to stand in that day as well as this day so do not second guess or decide these words were not for you today.
Key Verse:
Ezekiel 23:32
“This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “You will drink your sister’s cup, a cup large and deep; it will bring scorn and derision, for it holds so much.

Everything seems to come out soggy and hot on the outside and cold and stiff on the inside? You sometimes have to put in a special device to make things crispy but then your food is hot and crispy on the outside and still cold and stiff on the inside? Hmmmmm I know some people like that or maybe I just need a new microwave. Just a thought.

“Spiritual Gifts”
I am not sure why but the Holy Spirit has lead me to a place that there is someone out there struggling with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Lord says that you need this today to help you. I pray blessings upon you and your decision to be obedient to the Father in Heaven who gives all gifts that are good. Now we know He gave us a Perfect Gift in His Son Jesus Christ and Christ has told us that we will do even greater things so do not hinder the gifts of the Spirit that is lead by God Himself.
1 Corinthians 12:1-11
1Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. 2You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
4There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
7Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] 11All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
Paul was speaking to the people of the church of Corinth and it is just as relevant at your church as it was at their church. You have the power to make change in your community with these gifts so ask seek and knock.
Key Verse:
1 Corinthians 12:12
The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.

“Every Word of God is Flawless”
The Word of God tells us that His Word is flawless. It’s not just common knowledge like most would think. There are many who say God’s word is literature and treat it as such. But it isn’t it is flawless and should be the final authority in everything in our lives and in our nations.
Proverbs 30: 5-6
5 “Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
6 Do not add to his words,
or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.
What a powerful scripture. God will prove you a liar if you do not believe His Word. As a matter of fact God is so adamant about this that it says in His Word that the liars will be sent to hell.
Revelation 21:8
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
The liars will share place with the wicked so if you do not believe God’s Word then you will be proven a liar and standing with the rest of the wicked. These are just some things for you to pray about. As you read these and pray about then remember Grace is still available.
Key Verse:
Proverbs 30:4
Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know!
