“Something Important?”

 

You know about all the hoopla going on about 12/21/2012, right?  Well I was praying about these things and there is scripture to back what the scientists are saying if the things they think are going to happen on that day actually happen.  It is found in Revelation 16:17-21.

¹⁷The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” ¹⁸Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. ¹⁹The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. ²⁰Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. ²¹From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.

I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENENING! Wanted to make that clear.  If this is going to be when the 7^th bowl is poured out there are several other things that will have to take place within the next few years and actually there isn’t enough time between to make it line up with scripture.  So the 2012 event will be just that an event.  It could be the beginning though because it would likely take a huge shift like this to open the abyss for the beast that is spoken of in Revelation 13.

According to science on this day there is the possibility of a pole shift and if this happens there will be a whole Earth earthquake none the likes of which any man has felt before.  But the Bible says we will not know the exact time or day in which Christ will return and the Bible says to be prepared in good times and bad times for His return and there will be signs of the return of Christ and we have definitely seen those things for years.  I am not trying to scare you but I do want you to have your house in order and all of you pre-trib believers this should be an exciting time for you and for you post-trib need to get prepared for it seems the time is near.  I am sure that 2012 will be a banner year for the church but do not store up your treasures here on Earth but get those precious stone encrusted crowns that you may have something to lay at the feet of Jesus when you get to Heaven.  All I am trying to do here is to make you think and to be ready for when the time does come.  You must ask, seek, and knock that the door be opened for you.  Do not base a decision on fear but on what your heart is telling you.
